I’m the one who started this thread. Just because I add someone to my ignore list doesn't mean they can't post here. I can just ignore them without adding them to a list. Honestly, I don't see the point or any benefit to an option like that.
Is there a way for me to actually prevent someone from commenting on a thread I created?

Basically, no. This is a public forum, and only the owner or authorized staff have that kind of control.

I honestly don't see any point in having an ignore list at all.

The whole point of an ignore list is to filter out the noise from people you don't care to read, but I guess as a forum user, you just don't have any say in who gets to post on a thread or not.

I mean, what’s the logic in deciding who gets to chime in on your thread and who doesn't? If you want a curated experience, just hop into a private chat room and talk to whoever you want.
