Incorrect post count

I hope I'm in the right subforum here.

So, I'm a bit confused—my profile says I only have 4 posts, but I actually have 14 (or 15, if we count this one)? Everything seemed totally fine yesterday when I was at 14 posts, but then some mods deleted one of my comments overnight—just one, I checked!—and ever since then, my post count has been stuck at 4. It hasn't budged, even after I've added more. I'm guessing it might be related to that deleted post from last night, since I haven't really done anything else differently. Could someone take a look and fix this? Thanks!

edit: After starting this thread, the count jumped to 5, but it should really be 15 (actually 16 now—edit 2).

Posts don't actually count toward the total on the close to politics subforum. That thread you were writing in got moved over to that PDF file, so your posts were still showing up in the counter while the topic was still sitting in its old spot.

Thanks, so that's where the snag is. Just curious though—why don't posts count in certain subforums? If you don't mind me asking 🙂
