So, here’s the situation: my mom is currently in an induced coma. She suffered a ruptured cerebral aneurysm, which the doctors managed to stabilize through an endovascular procedure. However, they spotted another suspicious vessel, but the specific area of the brain where that one is located has already undergone necrosis. She experienced several bouts of vomiting, and during the first episode, she lost consciousness. Interestingly, after each subsequent seizure, she would regain consciousness and was able to communicate with us normally.
What I’m really struggling with right now is wondering if she will wake up, and if she does, what kind of lasting effects she might be facing.
