Hey everyone, I was just wondering if you all had heard about those insurance fraud schemes where people stage car accidents on purpose just to collect a payout from their provider. It seems like such a specific way to go about it, and I can't help but wonder if there are other ways people try to pull fast ones like that. I mean, I’ve never done anything like that, nor would I ever consider it, obviously, but I guess I’m just curious if there are other methods people use to try and get money through deception besides staged collisions.

☕

anyway, sorry if I posted this in the wrong section, maybe the admin can move it for me if needed 🙂

There was a time when you could actually make a decent living in this industry, but you can no longer claim that the major insurance giants like State Farm or Geico are just coasting on easy money...
I honestly believe it’s a mistake to dive headfirst into this right now.
I've personally known people who came to the table with absolutely brilliant concepts—ideas that looked incredibly promising on paper—only to end up facing massive regulatory fines and sliding straight into bankruptcy instead of seeing any profit at all...

Some insurance companies are basically just running a scam by making it mandatory.
