IP camera connection timeout issues

Hey everyone! =D

Got a headache with this "SunEye SP-HMO1WP" IP camera
The thing works fine normally. I’ve got it hooked up at work to my personal mobile hotspot, and I can access it from my phone or PC without any drama... everything's smooth.

EXCEPT when I try to connect using my Comcast router at home. Doesn't matter if I'm on Wi-Fi (phone, laptop) or hardwired (desktop).

The router they issued me is a "Comcast - DVW 32C"... pulling about 150 Mbps...
It worked perfectly for a while, then they pushed some update or whatever, and now I just can't get into this stupid camera through that specific router.

So I call them... total incompetence. Some guy actually managed to fix something temporarily, told me he had to tweak some settings and would call me back in 10 minutes...
He never called. It stopped working again. I call them back, and suddenly they're playing dumb—acting like nobody ever promised a callback, claiming they have no clue... and then they threaten to charge me for a technician visit if someone actually shows up...

I'm messing around with the router settings myself, but nothing's sticking... Anyone else have an idea? 😵

So, what kind of update are we talking about here? Was it a Windows thing? Or maybe just some firmware update for the router?

They were messing with the router when they updated the TV firmware (their receiver, which looks and acts totally different now)... I couldn't even get back into it after that, had to do a full factory reset just to set up my new login info (the router doesn't have a default setup, you gotta manually enter everything the first time after a reset).

aha, have you tried messing with the camera settings? maybe it'll behave a little differently if you tweak them?
