Is CCleaner actually worth using?

I’m running into a bit of a headache with this software, specifically because I can't seem to get my performance monitor score anywhere near an A or even a B... no matter how much I scrub everything, I just keep getting stuck with a C or a D, and honestly, I'm at a loss for what else I could possibly do to actually see some improvement here...

I’d say just delete that and grab TuneUp instead. It’s seriously better—like, 10,000 times better.

True, but that's just a trial version, isn't it? Once those 15 days are up, you're going to have to shell out for the full license

A trial version can eventually be upgraded to the full edition

must have been a new update, I didn't catch that either... Not that it matters, I use TuneUp anyway :-D

Just head over to your settings and fire up the performance monitor, where you can track everything from your CPU clock speeds and memory usage to your disk activity and network throughput... it'll give you a clear look at your overall performance score right there

I mean, I assume those ratings basically boil down to how much of a powerhouse your rig actually is. If you're running some bottom-of-the-barrel junk PC, there’s no way you’re hitting an A grade, no matter how hard you try.

Anyway, I used to have one of those green-and-black gadgets sitting right on my desk, but honestly, I haven't a clue where it vanished to. Not that it matters—as long as everything is running smoothly without any hiccups, I'm good.
