I feel like every single offseason, we get these massive lists from analysts claiming that a few specific moves are going to fundamentally change the trajectory of a franchise. They'll pick three guys, call them "game changers," and act like the entire landscape of the league is about to shift overnight. It's the same cycle every year.

Honestly, I've become pretty cynical about it. I remember back in my college days, we used to obsess over these "missing pieces" that ended up being nothing more than solid starters who never actually lived up to the hype. It feels like the media loves to manufacture this sense of impending greatness to keep fans engaged, even when the actual roster depth or coaching situation hasn't changed much at all.

Do you guys actually buy into these "top impact" predictions, or do you just treat them as noise until the first game is actually played?
