Hey,
I’m wondering if it actually makes any sense to go through the hassle of getting an ISO 9001 certification for a small marketing agency.
Here’s the deal: we handle digital marketing, and our whole workflow is built on these hyper-specific methodologies that let us crush it for clients. Everything we do is strictly data-driven and based on massive testing—zero guesswork involved.
Right now, we’ve got a tight crew of 3 full-timers and we outsource about 5 other roles for the smaller tasks. Getting certified isn't cheap, though I have heard there might be some government grants or competitions out there that could help offset the cost.
So, given everything I just said, does it really make sense to push for certification just to prove to potential clients that our processes are legit? Since our methodology is basically our biggest competitive edge, would this actually move the needle?
