Hey everyone.
Not really sure where this belongs, so I just started a new thread.
If anyone knows what's going on, please help—it's kind of an emergency!
So, I have a Dell Inspiron 15 and I was trying to pop the back cover off to see if there’s an extra RAM slot for an upgrade. I actually pulled the current RAM out just to check, then popped it right back in. When I put everything back together, the laptop turned on at first, but the screen stayed black. So, naturally, I opened it back up to make sure I hadn't bumped anything loose, closed it again, and now... nothing. It won't even power on anymore. I have no clue what went wrong since I didn't touch anything except the RAM—except, when you take the bottom panel off, there’s this tiny little cable you have to unplug from the motherboard to get the cover off. I don't know if that matters or if messing with that could be why it won't turn on.
If anyone has any idea, please let me know. I'm hoping it isn't anything major, but honestly, I'm pretty clueless about this stuff.
