Hey everyone, ran into a weird one. I had to hard shutdown my PC recently, and when I booted back up, the CPU name had changed on me. I was running a Core i5-2500K (which I know is actually just an overclocked Core i3 with three cores), but now every time I start it up, it just says Core i3... wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction to get it back to showing as a Core i5-2500K? It’s happened once before, but usually, it just resets to the default setting after a restart. If this doesn't make sense, just let me know and I'll try to explain better. Thanks!

It’s not an overclocked x4 B50, but rather an X3 450 with the fourth core unlocked. You just head into the BIOS, find either Advanced Clock Calibration or Unlock CPU Core, toggle that on, and then start testing the different settings—I guess I'm not entirely sure how many options there actually are.
