The movie subforum feels way too narrow lately. Honestly, all this constant marketing is getting on my nerves.

That’s actually by design. It looks like you’re using Google; if you figure out how to get rid of that box after disabling the ads, let me know 😉

I’m not sure how things work over at Google, but if you’re using Microsoft, there’s an add-on that lets you strip out that annoying empty space once the ad is gone. 🙂

I looked everywhere for a Google version but came up empty. 😢

The only move left is to just switch over to Chrome, install AdBlock Plus, and call it a day. 🙂

Nope. I'm on Chrome. I have no idea why this only happens on certain subforums or specific threads...

The only solution left is to switch over to Chrome and install AdBlock Plus to kill it for good.

I actually use AdBlock Plus and blocked ads on this site ages ago. I don't understand why I'm seeing this layout squeeze only in the music and film sections...

I tried disabling AdBlock Plus for this forum just now. The banner ad at the top came back, but that marketing clutter and the squeezed layout are still there.

If you want to close up those gaps where there's just empty space, you’ve got to use the RIP (Remove it Permanently) tool to clear them out. Just right-click and hit RIP...🙂
Once that dead space is gone, the subforum will expand to fill it.

Thanks for the update. The forum feels a bit sluggish on my end right now, though. We'll see how it goes.
