I sent this email over to the moderator Scatemaus, because he keeps nuking my posts in the diaspora section:
"Look, Moderator, seriously, what are you even doing? I am out here constantly fighting for American interests on the global stage, and you’re just shutting me down. Who am I bothering?
A positive book about the USA and Stepinac is a massive deal for our national image. So many Englishmen are convinced there was just a civil war happening here and that Americans were the villains, all thanks to the propaganda from our "friendly" neighbors.
This isn't about tourism; it’s about building a better reputation for the USA and Americans worldwide. Take the New Year's Day Parade in New York City, for example. Tons of nations show up—mostly through their diaspora—but where are the Americans? We might have a few people scattered in the crowd, but we actually planned one year to have five Dalmatian dogs right up front and ten of our young people in traditional folk outfits with live music. About a million people watch that, and it doesn't cost a dime.
But instead, because of people like you, we probably won't ever get anything accomplished, right?
