Issues with the showerhead

I recently dealt with some inflammation on the head of my penis. At first, the main symptoms were extreme sensitivity and a burning sensation—it felt incredibly hot. Then, these white patches started appearing; I could wash them off, but they just kept coming back. 😲
It was pretty painful and stinging, too.
I quickly picked up some Johnson & Johnson cream, and the issue cleared up within two days. Based on that, I’m fairly certain it was just a fungal infection—my girlfriend had the same thing, and since we aren't seeing anyone else, it clearly wasn't an STI.

Here’s the catch: now I’m having trouble with erections—specifically, blood flow isn't staying in the glans.
Basically, the head of my penis loses its firmness almost instantly. Even during an erection, a light touch can cause the blood to drain out of the head while the rest of the shaft stays hard. It has also taken on this weird bluish tint. 😕
Plus, there's this strange sensation... 😕
And when we're actually having sex, the head just goes limp. 👎
Even though the shaft itself remains fully erect!

Could this be a side effect from the cream, or have I actually damaged the tissue? Is there any way this will resolve? 😕

I haven't been able to find anything useful about this online anywhere.

Go see a urologist. Don't rely on internet forums. And don't sweat it—they've seen it all, so there's really nothing to be embarrassed about. 😬

Honestly, just go see a urologist. Man, I was in a similar spot once and the doctor was such a babe that I couldn't even get an erection. I almost died from trying to focus on literally anything else. Anyway, I need to hit up a specialist myself because I've been running to the bathroom way too much during the night. Anyone got a recommendation?

Look, if you're peeing, at least your kidneys are doing their job.👍 As long as it doesn't smell funky and looks a healthy shade of yellow—not looking like orange juice or Coca-Cola—you're probably fine.

It’s not even really about that, but I mean, hitting the bathroom three times a night when I haven't even had anything to drink all day... that just doesn't seem right. The weird part is, I don't even feel thirsty. If I actually felt thirsty, I'd probably be knocking back liters of water a day—which I do sometimes—but then I usually end up getting these killer headaches after a couple of weeks.

Maybe it's just a side effect from that cream (even though nothing in the literature mentions it)—I'm finishing the treatment in three days, so we'll see if this is just part of recovering from that nasty inflammation

and I've been reading up on this online quite a bit; nowhere does it mention this being a symptom of inflammation on the underside of the head. Usually, those cases look completely different—like actual structural changes to the penis—and I definitely don't have that happening here.

It’s called the glans, not "dickhead," if you want to be accurate. Just look up the anatomy on Wikipedia and try to use the right terminology. 🤣
