Issues with USPS tracking

Hi, not sure if I'm in the right subforum here.

Has anyone sent anything to the US via the postal service lately?
I've always used registered mail or packages before, and everything went smoothly—usually arriving within two or three weeks. But now, when I check my tracking on the USPS site, it just keeps saying the shipment is stuck back home and hasn't even left yet.
It says: "Origin Post is Preparing Shipment
We have received notice that the originating post is preparing to dispatch this mail piece."

I called my local post office and they told me it was sent and that they aren't responsible for what happens once it leaves the country. I'm aware of that.
But USPS is acting like the shipment doesn't even exist—like there's no record of it at all.
I know their system can be slow to update, but I've sent plenty of packages without any issues until now. This is the first time I've run into this kind of wall.
Usually, after three days, things show up in New York. I sent this one on February 22nd and there’s been zero movement on the tracking since. I might be overthinking it, but is anyone else dealing with this? 😉😉

It is quite possible that the SOA is still holding onto those packages; perhaps you should double-check, as they might not have forwarded them once the inspection was completed.
I suppose the most prudent course of action would be for you to send a formal letter to HP, requesting an official explanation along with a guarantee that the shipment will actually reach its final destination.
