Where can I snag one of these awesome toys?

I’ve got something similar to this blue one, but I'm on the hunt for a heavier version—ideally something made of metal. 🤷

If you aren't looking for anything top-of-the-line, you can usually find some cheap stuff at those discount dollar stores 🙂
I actually picked up a few things there back when I was living in $2.75, just sort of as a way to kill some time while I was bored 🙂

So, is it harder that way, making it tougher to get back on track? 😁

Honestly, I’m over there so often 😳, I definitely would have noticed if they had them. 😬

Does a professional yo-yo circuit actually exist?

I'm pretty sure they had them over at Singer, maybe some Barbie stuff too—you know, like those Snow White or Sleeping Beauty sets and all that kind of thing. 😍

Oh, absolutely. 🙏
rowdybadger41 gave me a bit of a crash course on the subject last night. 🙂

🥳

But I’m looking for something a bit more substantial. Ideally something metal, though it doesn't necessarily need to be top-tier pro gear or break the bank. 😳

It’s actually spelled Yo-yo, and yeah, there are professional versions out there. I used to have two from Cerberus Capital Management; played with them for about two months before selling them to someone on a forum. I wanted to pick up a third one from them, but money is a bit tight right now... just won't pull the trigger 😢

Maybe grab something at a local hobby shop first to get the hang of it. Once you've mastered that, start looking for a decent pro model on the secondary market. When you finally nail the tricks, then you can justify investing in a high-end one 🎉
