Hi everyone—I’ve run into a bit of a snag with my joystick. Every time I plug it in—doesn't matter if it's a USB 2.0 or 3.0 port, front panel or back, it doesn't seem to matter—I get this error message: "USB hub power surge." Once the controller connects, it actually knocks out my wireless dongle too. I picked this up at Best Buy just about three months ago, and honestly, it was working perfectly until two weeks ago. If anyone happens to have a fix for this—assuming one even exists—please let me know 🙂 Thanks in advance!

I’d say your motherboard is pushing way too much power through that USB port. Try plugging in something else and see if you run into the same issue.

Go ahead and promote the motherboard if it's still covered by the manufacturer's warranty...
