I think Kramer VS Kramer is just incredible. It’s one of those films that’s honestly so good it becomes a total cult classic. Not quite on the level of a Hollywood director, but still...

Of course it’s good. It shows life as it really is—how fathers fight for their kids and why we need to actually look at the specifics of custody cases instead of just assuming what should happen automatically.
I don't see why anyone would compare this movie to Hollywood?

Read the book instead. It'll hit you much harder than the movie ever could. And I honestly don't see what Hollywood has to do with it? Are you thinking of Lolita?

...hmm...it really takes me back to being a kid...to those days when I couldn't stand him, then suddenly loved him, then hated him again, then was back to loving him...
....today, he feels a bit...hmm...overrated, I guess...but he’s gentle, so that earns him some extra points 🙂 (I can't help it—I have a soft spot for those tender little indie flicks...)

It’s pure genius just having Meryl Streep and Dustin Hoffman in the cast. They carry this whole movie on their backs. They're brilliant, period. 🙏

And I mentioned Hollywood because Benjamin Reed49 watched his work before seeing Kramer and thought he was a total genius. 😁

Man, this is one of those movies that just sticks with you—I watched it on loop constantly when I was a kid. Even though I was just a little brat back then and didn't catch all the nuances, those specific scenes still haunt me... like the part where the kid loses an eye, or whenever Dustin Hoffman starts acting crazy and doing his thing...

Decent flick, even if it’s been ages since I last sat down to watch it—maybe 15 years?!

A total masterpiece, honestly—Hoffman really outdid himself here.👍
I swear I was just rewatching it for the hundredth time yesterday.😲
