LAN-wifi issues?

So, I’ve got this setup where there's a router in one apartment... and in the other one, I'm thinking about running a LAN cable from that router straight to my laptop... is there any way I can set up the laptop to act as a Wi-Fi repeater?

Or, I don't know, maybe it’d just be way easier to just plug in a second router in that other unit since you're already running the cable anyway..

or honestly, just grab an access point if you actually need some decent Wi-Fi
