Hey there!
Sorry for starting a whole new thread here, I just couldn't find the right spot for this specific mess.
So, I am having a massive, total headache with my laptop right now.
It's a
Dell Inspiron.
Basically, it's doing this weird thing where it stays on and makes this constant buzzing sound, and both those little power lights are glowing blue, but—get this—I can't actually turn it off OR back on!
I even tried pulling the power adapter straight out of the wall, but nope, nothing works.
Does anyone have a clue what might be causing such a disaster?
Though, honestly, I'm thinking it probably needs a trip to the repair shop.

Thanks a bunch in advance!

I was cleaning my Dell Inspiron keyboard the other day because four keys were acting up. I ended up taking the whole thing apart just to swap out the thermal paste.

When I powered it back up, everything seemed fine, except those same four keys right next to each other are still glitching.

I figured, whatever, I can live with it.

Then a Windows update popped up. I clicked to install it, got to the part where I needed to hit restart, and the laptop just died mid-click.

Now, every time I turn it on, it starts up normally, but then it immediately jumps into Startup Repair. It keeps looping through the process, but it never actually finishes because the laptop just shuts itself off again. What did I mess up?

I don't have an original Windows license, and the one I do have is currently back in the US, and since I'm in a different country right now, I can't exactly download a new one easily..

I even tried hitting F16 to get into Safe Mode, but the second I click anything, it shuts down on me again.🤡

Hey,
I’m running into a weird issue with my laptop's SSD capacity. My C drive is reporting that I only have about 10GB of free space left out of 250GB, but when I actually dig into the drive and manually add up the file sizes, it looks like I should have closer to 100GB available. Does anyone know why the math isn't adding up? Also, I'm wondering if this storage glitch could be causing my boot issues—sometimes after I log in, the screen just goes black and the whole system freezes up.
Thanks,
