Laptop screen issues

So, for the last couple of weeks, something’s been seriously funky with my laptop screen. It keeps flickering or doing this weird thing where it stays normal for a few minutes, then suddenly just dims down a few shades, and then it repeats. Like, what is actually going on here, and does anyone have any clue how I can fix this mess?

To start, I’d recommend uninstalling your graphics drivers completely. If that doesn't do the trick, there's a pretty good chance you're looking at a hardware issue—either the GPU itself or the motherboard might be acting up.

Look, I've got both NVIDIA & Intel running here, but when I look at my uninstallation list, all I see are these specific things:

- Intel Trusted Connect service Client
- Intel Control center - Intel
- Intel HD

So, am I just supposed to nuking that third one?

Try reinstalling both your Nvidia drivers and the Intel HD graphics driver.

It really depends—I think most laptops follow a specific routine where the Intel HD graphics handle all the light stuff, like just browsing the web, while the Nvidia chip only kicks in when you're actually gaming or running something heavy. So, maybe try reinstalling the Intel HD graphics first, and then go ahead with the Nvidia installation?
