Laptop won't turn on

I have this Vivax TPC 10100 iPad. However—out of nowhere—it just won't turn on. This is actually the second time this has happened to me. Once with this same iPad, I had to send it all the way to Washington, D.C., and I spent 20 days just waiting for it to come back. The other time, it was with a Sony phone, and the guy at the cell phone shop managed to fix it on the spot using his own device—he basically just held them side-by-side and somehow it powered up. Does anyone know how that works? If anyone has dealt with a similar issue, let me know.

So, you ought to hold down that power button for at least ten seconds, though in some instances, one might find it necessary to persist for as long as half a minute. If that fails to yield any results, what else is there to do? I would suggest leaving the iPad to charge for an extended period using its original manufacturer's charger.

It's an iPad, not a laptop—just saying.

There’s just nothing left to try—I’ve exhausted every single option. I even went as far as using precision screwdrivers to pry the tablet open just to pull the battery and pop it back in. But honestly? It’s a lost cause.
