I’ve always had a thing for leather jackets. Honestly, out of all 14 jackets I own, my leather ones just hit different. There's a certain vibe you get that you just can't find anywhere else.
Anyway, I was digging through my closet today and found this old faux-leather jacket with some damage on the sleeve.
I tried looking for a local cobbler or a specialist to fix it up, but it feels like those old-school craft shops are pretty much extinct these days.
So, I decided to take a gamble and dropped it off at one of those big-box retail services that handles textiles and dry cleaning.
Now, I've decided I'm going to see this repair through to the end and then gift it to someone for $33. I could have just tossed it, but the style is still too good to waste, and I know someone will love it.
Leather jackets... they really are something special, aren't they?
