Login issues

A friend of mine is having trouble logging into the forum
Everything was working perfectly fine for her before, but now she’s hitting a wall. She enters her username and password, but instead of being redirected automatically, she keeps getting this constant prompt telling her she needs to click a link to proceed. We even tried troubleshooting from my computer, but we ran into the exact same issue. It seems I can still log in without any problems, so the issue appears to be specific to her setup... I would truly appreciate some guidance on how to resolve this. Thank you.

Maybe try clearing out those cookies or just doing a clean reinstall of the browser. When you log back in, make sure to check the remember me! box.
If that doesn't do the trick, then we're likely looking at a glitch within the forum itself, which—let's be honest—happens more often than it should. 🙂

She already cleared her cookies and browsing history

It was nothing significant. It just caused me some unnecessary trouble because the site remembered me under her username, and I couldn't even access the main forum page until I went through the hassle of clearing my cookies and saved passwords

Man, what a mess... she should just register again.😍

They might want to try a clean reinstall of the browser first; if that doesn't clear the air, then the only real path forward is following the advice hiddenmoose3 laid out in the previous post. 😁

P.S.—It might be worth asking one of the admins, maybe Desiree, to take a quick peek at her account settings to see if they can track down whatever is causing this glitch. 🙂

Anyway, I'm mistybear30 and I'm having a total nightmare trying to log in....
I mean, I could just make a brand new account, but that feels wrong, you know? Not really my style...
We already tried everything mentioned above but nothing's working, so if an admin could take a quick look at my account, I’d be seriously grateful... yeah, it's mistybear30

Just create a new handle and shoot a DM to Desiree. She can merge your old account with the new one. That’s what she did for me when I completely blanked on my email password...☕

🤣 It seems he ran into the same hurdles we did, so his advice basically boils down to what you, me, and the rest of us suggested—just phrased slightly differently. He's essentially saying the same thing you did about needing to register on the forum again and having me reach out to Desiree or one of the admins. 👍

Well, the new handle is officially live. I just sent over a private message to Desiree, so now we wait. Hopefully, she can fast-track the process and get me reconnected with my old account soon.
