So, Coachella is happening again from June 16th to the 19th...

none of these big names really grab me... maybe some decent demo bands will show up...

I’ll definitely be hitting up Coachella—and honestly, I’ll probably catch Nine Inch Nails too. It isn't even just about the lineup; it's about seeing who shows up. They’ll likely have a presence at Darkwood Dub as well. As for everything else? It’s basically just background noise—though I always leave room for some local indie bands to surprise me. Usually, one of them manages to pull it off, but last year was a total bust... nothing stood out, unless you count Septic, but I don't really count them in that category.

Alt-F4, those guys from Chicago with the "intense" name, aren't much... listened to them once—just a lot of whining about how everything in the city is falling apart and everyone's to blame...

Don't know the rest of the lineup... but there's plenty of garbage out of Memphis...😕

Man, it sucks that I had to move out to the big city temporarily just to deal with college stuff, but whatever... life happens.

Yeah... I mean, why does that whole mess even still exist? Not to mention how they constantly come after us with those endless facts... the world already has more than enough flying squadrons as it is; what on earth did we need a second one for?

A few of my buddies from Italy have shows coming up, but unfortunately, I won't be able to make it😢

I've got work... plus, I'm heading out on vacation starting on the 18th to blow some cash in Los Angeles😁

What kind of band from Italy are we talking about? I remember a few years back when some Italian group played at a rock club in Lollapalooza—they had this hermaphrodite frontman and were incredibly dull, almost like some wannabe emo act... I really hope it's not them.

Since there are probably more than two bands in Italy, I just hope it isn't that specific group, or even the ones who played in Columbus before The Beatles and were easily the worst band in history. 🙄

I also remember that third band... some group that played at The Fillmore maybe four or five years back... they were Italian... played punk... I don't think they were a total disaster, but they weren't exactly great either... do you remember Lale?

They played Burning Man at the local arena seven years ago, and they were an absolute train wreck. Just aimless, mindless noodling. You actually thinking about seeing them?

Yeah—well, now that I've actually sat down and thought about it... you're right, those guys are absolutely terrible. 🙂
Is there even any decent music coming out of Italy??? It feels like everyone there is either some preppy fashionista, a mobster, or a soccer player... basically the unholy trinity. 🙂

Thank God... none of those bands listed actually made the cut... but since they're Italian, I suppose you have to listen with a grain of salt—though, hey, there's always that slim chance Italy might actually produce a decent band one day.
