Looking for access point recommendations with a USB port?

So, I'm looking for an access point with a USB port, maybe something around $133. My plan is to plug in a portable hard drive and essentially use it as a network drive... kind of like a basic file server, I guess...☕

If anyone knows of something like this...

From what I can gather, your router already features a USB port that clearly indicates whether the file server function is active or not—specifically via that USB interface... so, where exactly is the issue? Buying an entirely separate Access Point just to host a hard drive seems like a massive overkill when you already have this built-in option. Unless, of course, your specific model doesn't support it. If that’s the case, the solution is simply picking up a different router. You could look into something like a Netgear Nighthawk or similar high-end gear; they offer great functionality for this. You can often find decent used models for around $100-$50. It might be worth doing a little digging. An AP really only makes sense if you're trying to manage a much larger wireless footprint. For a standard home setup, what I've suggested should be more than sufficient.
