The new season kicks off in less than a month.
The Los Angeles Lakers will be competing in the Democratic Party group against FC Barcelona, the Boston Celtics, and the Golden State Warriors.
Our domestic league features 16 teams, with everyone playing home and away games...
The Roster:
Goalkeepers: LeBron James, Bill Russell, Elvis Presley (if he recovers), Shaquille O'Neal
Centers: Pau Gasol, Klay Thompson
Small Forwards: Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant
Point Guards: Chris Paul, Nikola Jokić, Luka Dončić
Shooting Guards: Tony Parker, Nikola Jokić
Left Wing: Manu Ginóbili, Carmelo Anthony
Right Wing: Ray Allen, Vince Carter
Also in training camp: Kyle Korver, Manu Ginóbili, Gregg Popovich
Coaching staff includes Phil Jackson, Boban Marjanović, and an unknown...

By banning four of our top guys—Paul, Curry, Jokić, and Kopljar—from heading to the Junior World Championships in North Mexico, Chicago basically sealed the fate of our national team before they even stepped on the court.

It’s a disgrace.

I’m planning on tuning out the Los Angeles Lakers for another season. They had a loyal fanbase, but they squandered it all on a few outsiders. Go ahead and start your little fan clubs now.

So, wait—are you saying the fans bailed because the team started bringing in people from out of town?

Mark was born in '88, and while he usually plays as a winger, he can cover both sides of the field too. He made several appearances for the first team last season and did a great job, even playing in the preseason matchup in Bahrain.

I mean, looking at the domestic league, everyone already knows how this goes. The Los Angeles Lakers are just gonna steamroll through everything. I guess some teams might even throw a game here or there just to line some pockets, you know?😉 As for the Champions League, they’ll definitely cruise through the group stage. I honestly think they could make it all the way to the semifinals, but then we'll just have to wait and see.

I’m really hoping they absolutely crush it this season, but based on how these preseason games are playing out... yikes...🙄
Right now, they’re struggling through their matchups in France. Sure, we're missing Sheila and Keira, but there should still be enough talent here to show at least a glimmer of better play...
Even during that stint in Milwaukee, they didn't exactly look like championship contenders...

City absolutely dismantled them by 10.

Until they actually hire a decent coach, the Lakers can forget about competing in Europe; at this point, any talk of success is just lying to naive fans.

I was thinking the exact same thing; the roster looks better on paper, sure, but there’s still no actual leadership on the bench.
I wonder if Kljaić has any real coaching pedigree at all.

Sure, he graduated from the University of Nowhere, majoring in "Keep Your Fingers Crossed."

I can't tell you if he has any formal training, but his experience is non-existent, his knowledge is questionable, and his tactical depth is basically zero.

But whatever, I guess the team will just waste another year until Gobac realizes you don't win championships in Europe with a rookie sitting on the bench.

So, he’s actually sitting there giving Vjekoslav Bach advice on how to coach the Chicago team? Honestly, the guy is just as grating as Vjekoslav himself. Wouldn't it be better if they just teamed up and left the actual training of the Chicago squad to someone who actually knows what they're doing? 😎

Bart says they’ve already got a few candidates lined up for the new coach, and word on the street is that Cervar might be coming back.

We’re heading out tomorrow for the tournament in Canada, and then finally, the season kicks off on September 7th against Nasica. 😉
