THE OTLA PRINCIPLE
A request to my readers:
If this book does not resonate with you, I ask that you please pass it along to someone else—perhaps it will strike a chord with them. However, if you find it valuable and worthy of study, I humbly ask that you share at least two or three copies with others. In doing so, you contribute to the dissemination of knowledge that carries far more weight than mere worldly concerns.
I make this request because there are no plans for a formal commercial printing of this translation; therefore, this is the only way to ensure a wider audience can encounter this profound work. Can we not agree that new insights have the power to shift our consciousness? And isn't a collective shift in consciousness the only true hope for a better future for all of humanity?
With sincere gratitude,
The Translator

Preface
For over thirty years, the author has dedicated himself to studying the fundamental mechanics of how life actually works. René Egli is the founder of the Success Impulse Institute based in suburban Connecticut.
Whether drawing from Hermann Hesse, Voltaire, Lao Tzu, Krishnamurti, Buddha, or Jesus—René Egli integrates all of them into his singular OTLA principle.
This creative thinker, who defies easy categorization within any existing framework, presents this ancient wisdom to us in a way that is entirely fresh and accessible.
The concept of “Love” has perhaps never been presented quite like this before. The author demonstrates why love is essentially an economic and physical reality, proving that through the power of love, every single problem becomes solvable.
The world is not broken, nor is it overly complicated. In truth, the world is perfect and far, far simpler than we have ever dared to imagine.
The OTLA principle is universally applicable: it holds true in corporate leadership, in politics, in professional sports, and most importantly, in our everyday private lives.
This isn't esotericism, it isn't mysticism, and it certainly isn't a new religion: this is simply life!
“The world, my friend Govinda, is not imperfect, nor is it on a slow path toward perfection: no, it is perfect at every single moment.”
Hermann Hesse, Siddhartha
In my view, everything that exists must be founded upon one incredibly simple idea.
And I believe that once we finally uncover that idea, it will be so logical and so beautiful that we will say to one another: “...how could it have been any other way!”
John Wheeler, physicist
The OTLA Principle
We are dealing here with a universal law of life,
one to which every human being, without exception, is subject.
OTL²A stands for
OT = let go
L = love
(L² = love times love, or rather
squared)
A = action / reaction
The OTLA principle represents the most radical expression
of economic theory, precisely because we are dealing with
the very transcendence of human existence. This implies:
The OTLA principle demonstrates how any given goal
can be achieved in the shortest possible timeframe and with far less effort than
one would expend through conventional methods.
L² indicates that an increase in love does not
correlate linearly with an individual's effectiveness; instead, it functions
quadratically (much like Ohm's Law)!
Introduction I
Floating within the vast infinity of the cosmos is a single speck of dust—just one among billions—which its inhabitants have christened "Planet Earth."
For thousands of years, strange phenomena have unfolded there. The beings inhabiting that sphere, who refer to themselves as humans, spend a massive portion of their lives engaged in internecine struggles; at times, they even resort to killing one another. And all of this occurs for reasons that would seem utterly incomprehensible to an extraterrestrial observer. After all, the conflict is never about controlling the entire speck of dust known as "Earth"; no, it is always merely about dominance over some infinitesimally small fraction of it.
It is equally baffling that these people have believed, for millennia, that there is no intelligence in the infinite universe superior to their own. Despite having no true understanding of how the cosmos operates, these beings have always viewed themselves as the pinnacle of Creation. Even today, theories persist suggesting that man, as the crown of Creation, is inherently aggressive, and that conflict, war, and murder are inevitable realities with which humanity must perpetually coexist.
If we truly view Earth as a mere grain of dust in the cosmic expanse, then the following scene becomes easy to visualize: highly advanced beings from the depths of space visit Earth at intervals of several hundred or thousand years (which, in cosmic terms, equates to a millennium). They arrive to observe whether humanity has finally grasped the mechanics of how "life" actually works. Thus far, these visitors have undoubtedly departed once again, shaking their heads in bewilderment, simply because they cannot fathom why humans refuse to understand. For any evolved spirit, the reason why the human spirit fails to function remains a profound mystery.
What this book reports upon is what we call life. This is an attempt to draft an "instruction manual" for living. We possess manuals for automobiles, washing machines, refrigerators, televisions, and so on. This, however, is the instruction manual for life itself. For certain individuals, it might prove to be quite useful.
