Basically, I boot up my laptop and just get hit with an MBR error 1. It sits there indefinitely. If I force a restart and spam F12 to manually select the SSD, it boots fine. I’m aware the MBR error requires a fix via an installation disk through the command prompt. I have the disk, but since this machine is running a German version of macOS, I can't access the command prompt. Is there any other way to resolve this? I tried using Hiren's BootCD on a USB drive, but the laptop won't even recognize it. 🤔
