Manual duplex printing - how to do it?

This isn't strictly on-topic, but I was wondering if anyone could lend me a hand? I'm working with an Epson L4150 multifunction printer... it doesn't have automatic duplexing, so I occasionally have to handle two-sided printing manually.



The issue is, when I flip the paper exactly like they show in the tutorial (and I usually print two pages per sheet, so front and back equals four total pages), things go a bit sideways. I get pages 1 and 2 just fine, but when I flip the stack over the short edge to print the rest, pages 3 and 4 end up on the same side but upside down—almost like the printer decided to rotate them 180 degrees on its own. It makes the whole thing pretty much useless since I end up wasting a bunch of paper, and it’s happened a few times now. I guess I just don't quite get why this is happening or how to prevent it, especially since I feel like I'm following the video correctly.

Just flip it around and you'll be good to go...

What do you mean by turning it the other way?

Just flip it upside down—or if you're feeling lazy, just rotate it 180 degrees...

Aha, I'll give it a shot. Is that what happens when I try to print multiple pages onto a single sheet of paper, right?

and you’ve gotta play around with the puzzle a bit to figure out how to flip it, but basically, there shouldn't be much difference whether you're printing one page or several

That’s exactly why I went with a duplex laser printer. It handles double-sided printing automatically. Dealing with those manual stacking tasks is just way too expensive, a massive waste of time, and honestly, a total headache.
