THE ROVER IS HEADING FOR MARS
The Mars Perseverance Rover is officially en route—following a flawless launch from the USA on June 2.

As part of The NASA Mission to explore Mars, tag McLaren Group companies Has been heavily involved in The Project. The requirement was for an impact-resistant body shell and working with team McLaren Mercedes official Supplier, the Advanced Composites Group, engineers developed materials light and tough enough to survive a landing hit at 45mph. They even had to hold up against temperatures dipping to minus 70 degrees.

The Rover launched at 11:45 PM local time on June 2—hitting its interplanetary orbit just an hour and 32 minutes later. It’s going to be cruising at speeds over 19 miles/s during this 400 million kilometer trek across the solar system.

The Mars rover will touch down in The Isidis Planitia basin of Mars early on December 25, 2003 and will Use probes and a sensitive internal laboratory to search for signs of water and Life on The red planet.

McLaren is conquering space. Ferrari fans—deal with it. 🙂

A red bottle, seriously? Hahaha. 🙏

Austin Evans, you’re killing me.

Are you really comparing a plastic bottle to the engineering behind a lander???

Hahaha.

Besides, our lander launched three months later and it's scheduled to arrive right on Christmas—whereas yours arrives "around Christmas." At this rate, we might even be the first to 😁

Talk about mission planning—landing "around Christmas"—as if Jean Todt were the one calling the shots.

A red bottle... hahaha 🙂

Give me a break... a little red bottle—calling it McLaren's help with the lander design is just a stretch... it basically amounts to the same thing... 😛
Especially since Ferrari actually managed to finally remember they should probably send something of their own to Mars... 😉 😛

They’ll arrive at Mars together—it’s all part of the same mission, after all. The Mars Express is just the orbiter meant to circle the planet, while the Beagle 2 lander is the one actually touching down on the surface.

So, essentially, your color will be circling Mars above, while the McLaren lander settles right onto the ground.

It looks like Ferrari will be watching from the sidelines once again as McLaren takes the win.

To reiterate:

red wins, haha 🙏 you guys are the best

There’s no way Ferrari's junk is even making it to the moon, let alone reaching Mars! McLaren has already left them in the dust. It’ll be quite something to watch them touch down on the Red Planet! 👋

It seems to be transforming into a place where more and more people are dropping in lately.🙂

If you were specifically referring to the thread itself... well, I suppose a little bit of a refresh never hurt anyone.😁

Into what?
Either say it or shut up for good... 😁 (huh, I guess I've been hitting too many weddings lately)

I have a question...

... does this Mars Lander use a Mercedes's engine??? 🙂 🙂

I have to admit—I’m feeling a tiny bit of jealousy here... though there’s really no reason for anyone to be upset, since your little probe will get its turn too 😁

Besides, what does a Mercedes's engine matter to a lander? Just think about it for a second—you know, with the solar panels and all that stuff

I was honestly just trying to find something interesting to pass the time before the next race—something I thought might engage everyone—but you guys jumped right on me. *Sniff.*

Well... I guess I’ll give you credit for the effort... truly... 😘

And honestly, even if that lander actually makes it to Mars... God knows what kind of circus that news will turn into... 😁
