MediaCom - issues/problems

I picked up this keyboard over at Los Angeles.
The standard keys work perfectly fine, but for some reason, those extra keys on the top and left side aren't responding at all—even after I went through the trouble of installing the drivers from the disc.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to fix this??
