My apologies if I’ve wandered into the wrong thread, but I’m a new user here and could really use some guidance.
Back in 2016, I got pulled over while driving and ended up with a misdemeanor charge for possession (0.46) of marijuana and refusing a drug test. Looking back, that was probably the biggest mistake I could have made. About a year later, I received an official notice stating I had to report for an extraordinary medical evaluation within a week. That process involved seeing a psychiatrist, taking psychometric tests, visiting an ophthalmologist, having my heart checked, and providing a urine sample. I completed that evaluation at a Department of Justice facility, where they cleared me to drive, though they only issued a one-year provisional license. Now that the year is up, I need to renew my license, which requires another medical exam. My question is: WILL I HAVE TO PROVIDE A URINE SAMPLE AGAIN, or will it just be the eye doctor, psychiatrist, and psych tests? My license has a restriction code for wearing glasses, which was also noted when I was a junior driver. Since last year's exam was a mandatory state-ordered evaluation and this is just a standard renewal, I didn't receive any special notice or paperwork; my license simply expired. I checked with Heinz, and they mentioned I can complete the exam at any clinic or similar facility.
If anyone has gone through something similar or has experience with this, please let me know what happened, because I’d really prefer not to have to pee in front of people again. 🙂
Thanks in advance.
