Sorry if I’m asking something that’s already been asked a million times, but I searched everywhere and came up empty, so here we go...😉
So, here’s the deal: my private doctor recommended a specific medication for an ear infection, but now my primary care physician—my regular doctor through my insurance—is refusing to write the script for it. She wants me to take some other brand instead. When I tried to push back, she basically told me that she isn't obligated to follow whatever a private specialist says... 😕 Is that actually how it works? Is she right?😕
