I tried to get some actual insight out of you regarding the movie, but honestly? Nothing. Look, if you want to act like a total film authority, go for it—that's fine. I’ve got my own areas of expertise too. But here's the thing: once you start calling yourself an expert, you always end up attracting a bunch of yes-men who just nod along to everything you say. And that’s where it gets messy—you actually start believing that some weak, cliché, surface-level critique is somehow more valid than everyone else's just because it came from "the expert."
It’s like when I tell my wife she’s being ridiculous and then actually start believing it myself.
