Missing?

I start a thread about PDF files and then the whole thing just vanishes?
It wasn't flagged for any reason, wasn't offensive, and
didn't break a single rule on this forum.

What gives?

The subject isn't my priority, but as a long-time user of this board, I figure I'm entitled to an answer.

The thread got nuked because it was a duplicate. It shifted focus toward stuff like drinking, gambling, weed, etc., plus the idea that you wouldn't change those habits, just the relationship.

I once noticed a totally pointless thread started by two throwaway accounts, so I reported them to the Reddit mods, but nothing ever came of it. 😕

A few days back, I put together a post on a subforum I don't visit very often. I don't recall posting anything like it before, nor did I include any comments. Now, even though my content didn't violate any of this forum's rules, the post has vanished. I'm not particularly bothered by the disappearance itself, but I do expect a basic level of courtesy from the moderators—just a quick word explaining why it was removed. It's about knowing the reasoning. Regards to the team.
