Mixed Feelings

Does anyone happen to know where I might find information regarding "diplopia" (when images overlap or you see double)? Or perhaps someone here has experience dealing with this.
I have already undergone a CT scan along with several other tests, yet the doctors are still unable to determine the cause.
Thankfully, it isn't anything life-threatening, but it is quite unsettling since the reason remains unknown.
If anyone has any insights or advice, I would be very grateful for your help.

Unfortunately not; I have visited an ophthalmologist several times.
I don't drink or smoke, so you could say I lead quite a healthy lifestyle.

Time to see a neurologist!
A CT scan just isn't enough; you definitely need an MRI.

Double vision is actually a pretty heavy symptom, so don't mess around with it—go see a neurologist immediately. You need a full neurological exam, and if there's anything even remotely pathological—or even if there isn't—they really ought to send you for an MRI. I don't want to freak you out by listing every single disease that causes double vision, but you need to take this seriously.

Tell us a bit more about yourself... are you dealing with any other symptoms? How old are you? Is there any history of serious illness in your family? Who sent you for the CT scan, and which specialist was it? What did the CT actually show?

Thank you very much for the advice. I have already seen three neurologists, including the renowned Diana at Mayo Clinic, where they performed a CT scan that came back completely clear.
No one in my family has been seriously ill, and I am not having any other symptoms. I was born in 1958.

Robin Vaughn46, you have no idea how much I panicked. About five days ago, I woke up feeling actually rested for once—I even lingered in bed for an extra hour before getting up. I headed to the bathroom with my phone to wash my face, set it down on the vanity near the sink, and while I was just standing there, I glanced at the screen and saw TWO notification icons indicating the connection had dropped. 🙏hock: I looked again, then a third time, and honestly... :nesvest:
Everything else in my reports was absolutely perfect. I wasn't under any stress or anything; I was just getting a routine full-body MRI done through my insurance provider. But now I’m starting to lose my mind with worry. One specialist mentioned to me that these kinds of double readings could point toward a neurological issue.

Has anyone else here ever dealt with something like this? I am honestly terrified...
