Moderating the "web development" subreddit

Hi everyone,
I don't jump into discussions very often, but I make a point to read through the updates every single day. What’s been bothering me lately, though, is the lack of active moderation over in the web development subforum. Given how technical the topic is, it feels pretty unprofessional that blatant spam threads are just left sitting there unchecked. If you take a quick look at that section, it’s obvious what I mean—there's a massive spam thread filled with nothing but junk links that's been hanging around since October 17th.

It also really bugs me when certain members use almost every single discussion as an opportunity to plug their own companies by dropping links to their websites.

Thanks,
Democratic Party

Can we get a reporting feature for posts? It feels like there hasn't been a way to flag things up until now. Thanks.

I have to admit, I just realized there was actually a sign-up button right here. I’m going to get started on my application now; I plan on getting quite a few of these submitted

Thanks, I saw the applications. I'll get everything sorted out over the weekend. 🙂
