Hey, I’ve got this 22" Dell UltraSharp sitting at home with a VGA input. It’s basically just collecting dust since I only use it for my PlayStation, which isn't exactly a great experience... so I was wondering if there's any way to hook up a TV tuner to the monitor using this http://www.amazon.com/itm/PC-Laptop-AV...ht_4699wt_1037

Thanks in advance

With the link you posted above, the answer is NO. I mean, where are you actually getting your TV signal from? Is it straight from a local broadcast tower or through a cable provider like Comcast?

What kind of output does this DVB-T unit actually have?

I just pulled up the Amazon link, so I’m assuming we're looking at a composite output here. If that's the case, why on earth wouldn't the setup mentioned above work if you simply connected the DVB-T box directly to the TV?

I just pulled up the eBay link, so I’m assuming you're looking at a composite output. If that's the case, I don't really see why the setup mentioned above wouldn't work, provided you connect the tuner directly to the TV.

But he wants to hook a TV receiver up to a computer monitor, according to his first post, so I'm not sure what a standard digital tuner has to do with that.
sk0ls@: Could you clarify exactly what you're trying to do? Give us the manufacturer and the specific model of the TV.
