Hey,

My knee has been killing me for two weeks now, specifically in the back—like the hamstring area? Does anyone have some good stretching exercises they can recommend?

So, try this: take your leg—keep that knee totally straight—and rest it right on the edge of a chair. You want it pointing up toward the ceiling, roughly perpendicular to your body. Once you’re set, just lean your torso forward toward that leg. It’s a surefire way to hit those hamstrings. If things feel a bit too tight or achy, honestly, go jump in a hot shower first; letting the steam work on those muscles helps everything loosen up.
best,

If you’re dealing with muscle pain, don't even think about touching it, let alone trying to stretch it out. In this situation, your best bet is massage therapy and some OTC painkillers. Once the pain subsides and you feel capable, you need to start stretching gradually to ensure the injury doesn't come back to haunt you.
