What are those songs and albums you’d want playing in the background if you were about to die? I mean, if you could pick the perfect soundtrack to make that final moment a little more beautiful—not that I'm talking about suicide or anything, obviously 🙂

I’d suggest you pay a visit to a psychiatrist

Why not?

OT: Honestly, there are quite a few, maybe James Blunt - Back to Bedlam.... 🤷Just something to ponder.

My psychiatrist and I have been on good terms for ages; I’ve already got my diagnosis. 🙂
Back to Bedlam? That’s an interesting choice, I suppose. 😁
To die while listening to you're Beautiful. Or maybe sol Vain.

Radiohead - planet Telex or whatever—if you’re dying in pain, Radiohead is the only way to go.
2. maybe some psychedelic stuff from The Verve.

Death and music? Honestly, what kind of question is that? It’s like—I don't even know—whatever happens to be playing in the background would probably feel pretty much the same at that point. I guess people will come up with anything just to start a new thread on this forum 😠 To start with, there are different ways to go, right? For instance, if someone is dying from a tumor—like a friend of mine—what are you supposed to do? Put on some Selena Gomez and hope "may heart will go on" somehow helps while she's lying there hooked up to life support? Or say someone gets a gun pointed at their head in the middle of a street in Chicago and there's simply no way out—would you really want "Stojin na kantunu glava u balunu" playing in the background then?

Hmm, yeah... I was honestly starting to lose hope there before I finally came up with a topic for this forum. Goodness me...
I suppose you're one of those people who clings to life with everything they've got. It seems to me that most people take death far too seriously.
It’s really just a transition from one state to another, isn't it? I was simply curious about what kind of music you'd want playing in the background while you're dying. I mean a natural death, of course. None of that business with tumors or diseases.

It’s nothing more than transitioning from one state to another. I was just curious about what kind of music you'd want playing while you're dying. And I mean a natural death—no tumors, no diseases, just the end.

Look, man, if you were really that worked up before you thought of this topic... jeez, uh, let's just say what I said. 😳

Personally, I think some heavy metal would be totally fine.

clinic - distortions

I mean, it probably wouldn't make my moment to die any more beautiful—actually, it’d likely do the exact opposite—but that's the first thing that pops into my head. "girls just wanna have fun" would probably make things better though...

videotape 🙂

I’d probably pull a move straight out of a classic rock anthem and demand everyone show up dressed in nothing but bright floral patterns, just so I could blast TO 😠 right at them. It would be the perfect way to show everyone just how much of a bunch of hypocrites they really are, and to remind them exactly what they put me through at my funeral. GO AHEAD, CRY YOU LITTLE SWINES :2up:

It’s really just moving from one state to another. I was just curious about what kind of music you'd want playing while you go. I mean, a natural passing. No tumors, no sickness, nothing like that.

And tumors are diseases—which, by the way, are perfectly natural ways to die...
Unnatural death is when someone kills you, whether they meant to or not. Or if you do it to yourself.

Dying isn't exactly "pleasant," and I'm pretty sure nobody gives a damn about the playlist when it's actually happening... everyone just wants peace and quiet. Maybe some loved ones nearby to say goodbye. This whole topic is kinda stupid and out of line, honestly.
If you see someone passing, maybe play some upbeat Motown or something just to cheer them up. Throw a little singalong together and have a shot of bourbon so the poor guy can go out looking decent... 😍
