I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction regarding how to grab music videos from YouTube... specifically, what kind of software should I be using if my end goal is to burn them onto a DVD later? So far, I've been messing around with some MP4 converters, but every time I try to actually burn the files, I just end up wrecking the disc entirely... which isn't exactly the most productive way to spend an afternoon. Is there a specific program I need for the actual DVD burning process, or am I just missing a step somewhere...

In Nero Burning ROM, you should probably select DVD-ROM (ISO).

So, I'm trying to figure out how to get my hands on Nero Burning ROM since I’ve been using CD BurnerXP to rip DVDs lately... does anyone have a recommendation for a decent program to actually grab music videos from YouTube?

I suppose your browser should ideally feature a download helper extension to facilitate downloading video files, though I guess the specific method would depend entirely on which browser you happen to be using.

I've been using YouTube Convert Pro through Windows Media Player to watch music videos, but once I burn them onto a DVD and try to play it in my car's DVD player, it just keeps giving me errors about an invalid format or saying there's no disc inserted...

I've been using YouTube Convert Pro through VLC Media Player to rip some music videos, but once I burn them onto a DVD and try to pop it into my car's DVD player, it just gives me an error saying the format is invalid or that there’s no disc inserted at all...

It is possible that your DVD player simply isn't compatible with .mp4 files. I suppose you might want to try converting them into something else, perhaps an .avi (DivX) format instead.

Check out this DVDvideo software—seriously, just trust me on this one, you’re gonna love it. It handles everything from ripping music videos to downloading tracks and all that extra stuff. And the best part? It won't cost you a dime.
