Alright, here’s the deal—just three days ago I was sitting pretty with 512 posts, but I log onto the forum today and what do I see? My post count has plummeted to 492! How does that even happen? I mean, sure, I've seen my numbers dip a little bit before, but never by this much... it's just weird, right?
It’s not like I’m losing sleep over it or anything, but I am genuinely curious—why does this even happen? Like, if I’ve dropped 512 posts, it shows 512. If I’ve grinded out 10,673, it says 10,673. It should just be a straight shot, right? Just show the actual number of times I've posted. Is there some weird glitch or something? I don't get why the count keeps dropping...
Who even cares about a post count? To me, it’s just some arbitrary number meant to track how much someone hangs out here—though I can see you're basically a seasoned veteran when it comes to keeping tabs on that stuff🙂

Activity could be measured by something else. For example, it’d be better if they tracked actual time spent on the forum instead of just post counts. Being active isn't just about typing stuff out; it's also about reading. You see people who registered back in 2002 with barely any posts, but that doesn't mean they aren't around... 🙂
We need some kind of way to track engagement. It’s fine if posts aren't tallied in the Offtopic section, but they should definitely count everywhere else. That's what the moderators are there for—to clean up anything that breaks the rules—but it's incredibly frustrating when a bunch of threads get moved around after a long time and suddenly all those posts just vanish. Even if I weren't such a handsome guy 😬, it would still bug me. 🤷 And yeah, I've actually lost hundreds of posts before, sometimes even more, but I handle it pretty well—each time, the tears get a little smaller. Actually, last time I didn't even cry, though I did have to duck into the restroom for a minute.
