Napster?

I happened to stumble upon these two links recently, and I noticed there's a massive collection—easily millions of tracks and folders—that someone uploaded specifically for streaming online.
To be honest, I’m a bit stumped as to how they managed such a massive upload, and I find myself wondering if it’s actually possible for someone like me to pull off something similar.
My goal would be to host my own library of music so my friends could stream it from just about anywhere in the country.

Is it actually possible that nobody has any idea how this was carried out?

Some guy built a website just to display a folder like that... nothing special.

Anyway, if you just right-click in Chrome or Firefox and hit "view page source," you can see it for yourself.
