Navi DVD issues

Hey, apologies if I’ve posted this in the wrong thread...

Anyway, I could use some assistance here. I downloaded a RAR archive containing navigation maps, extracted everything into a new folder using WinCommander, and ended up with four files:

name.cue
name.ccd
name.img
name.cub

The issue is, when I attempt to use Daemon Tools or Astro to create an image file, only the
cue and ccd files show up, while the img file is nowhere to be found... (Normally, I just mount the img file via Daemon to a virtual DVD and then burn it to a physical DVD/CD) ...

Now, whenever I try to burn that img file to a DVD, I get an error stating the file is not valid. Does anyone know what might be causing this?

Could someone please walk me through how to successfully burn this DVD so it actually works in my navigation system?

Didn't they include any instructions for the CD burning process on the same pages where the cards were being downloaded?

No, it's just a RAR file. And once I finally unpack it, this is what shows up...

Honestly, I can only speculate at this point. That "File is not valid" error is pretty vague—it could be caused by just about anything. Maybe try using a different optical media burning program, like Nero (https://cdburnerxp.se/), just to see if it can handle the image you downloaded.

I thought I had worked with this specific navigation system before, but I guess I was mistaken—it was one from Ford Motor Company that used CDs too, but back then, the instructions were actually available online.

You should probably check the version numbers. If they rolled out a major update, there might be a huge compatibility gap causing file format issues. Or, if there are any geo-restrictions involved, the system might just be rejecting the connection because the correct region isn't specified in the header.
