Neck lymph node biopsy

So, I went searching through various forums to see if anyone had started a thread about this, but I couldn't find anything quite like it.

Anyway, I had a lymph node biopsy on my neck today. They had to go in several times, and honestly, it was pretty painful while they were doing it.

Right now, the pain is just brutal... I can barely even turn my head.

I'm wondering if anyone here has gone through something similar? How long did it take for the soreness to finally die down... and is this level of pain actually normal?

I went to see a doctor about that when I was around six or seven... can't really remember the specifics, honestly. But look, the pain eventually fades. I don't even think it felt like actual pain, more like just this dull, heavy sensation.

But man, it hurt me so much. It was such an uncomfortable feeling... and pretty painful too. Mostly, I'm just glad it's finally over. I honestly thought I was going to pass out from being so scared.

I can't even tell you how much it messed with my head just sitting there in the waiting room.
It’s been, what, two decades now? Feels like forever, but I still remember constantly playing out this scenario in my mind... just wondering how that first needle hit my neck was actually gonna feel.
