Hey everyone.
I had heart surgery when I was only 42. Everything seemed fine for a while, but then about eighteen months later, out of nowhere, this intense weakness hit me. It came with constant nausea and dizziness, and it’s been dragging on for ten months now. I’ve gone through all the standard medical checks, but I can't do an MRI because I have metal hardware inside me.
My heart is basically sidelined. Diagnosis? Vertigo caused by damage to my cervical spine from Th2 down to N/A.
Five vertebrae... five is all we're counting on 🙂!
The doctors say rehab is the only way out.
Can anyone point me toward a decent facility where I can get proper therapy done right? I need a high-end medical spa or a specialized clinic—somewhere actually effective—where I can take this seriously and maybe see some progress. Right now, I feel like a three-year-old struggling just to stay upright while walking. Running? Forget about it. That's impossible for me right now.
