Need help finding a hematologist!!!!

Are there any hematologists in this group?

I'm not sure if there's a hematologist hanging out in this thread or not, but honestly, why not just lay it all out and tell us what you're dealing with? You might actually get some solid advice from someone else here who isn't even a specialist, 🙂

I’m not entirely sure if anyone here can actually help me without being a hematologist, but I'll ask anyway.

I was hoping someone might be able to help me make sense of my mother's lab results.

What tests are we even talking about here? My mom works in an emergency lab doing blood and urine panels all day long; she can read them just fine, even if she isn't a doctor or anything. So, why don't you just write everything out clearly so we can actually see what's going on? Honestly, I doubt you're even going to find a hematologist on this forum (is that even a thing 😕?)

But couldn't you just go see a specialist directly?

I mean, honestly, anyone here (even MacGregor) could claim they're a doctor... why trust random anonymous people behind a screen?

It’s highly unlikely you'll find someone here who holds a PhD specifically in hematology. It's much more probable that you'd run into someone with a doctorate in Medical Sciences, focusing on the field of hematology 😈

What you actually need is an MD specializing in internal medicine with a sub-specialty in hematology.

By the way, if you're just looking to get in touch with a hematologist, isn't this a bit of an abuse of the forum?
You aren't interested in the topic, you aren't sharing information, and you aren't seeking advice—you're just looking for a "connection."
Maybe try Tinder instead? 😈

Besides, the simplest thing would be to just go directly to the clinic and ask a hematologist for an explanation... I'm sure nobody will turn you away.👍
