Hi everyone, I was wondering if I could ask for a huge favor...

I’m looking for some help tracking down links to senior theses or research papers focused on marine propulsion automation...

Thanks in advance! 😉

Wouldn't it be a much better idea to just run this by your professor first? Or, you know, maybe head over to the university library and grab a similar thesis to look through—that way you could just use the sources listed in their bibliography to get your own started!

True, but my professor actually suggested I pick up a course from another campus—and since I’m based over at the satellite campus in Santa Barbara, it’s a bit of a trek to get to the main university grounds...

If anyone could please drop some helpful links here, I'd really appreciate it.

I suppose I could provide the links, provided my full name is included in the acknowledgments—and I’d prefer to be listed even before the mentor...
Actually, if we are being truly honest, I might consider it for a fee as well. In fact, wouldn't that be even better?

If there isn't any way to get some help free of charge, I’m more than willing to pay for it

Thanks, man—but there’s one massive hurdle here. Translating this into American English is going to be incredibly tough, especially since I’m looking at writing roughly 50 pages of content 😉

I could really use some help with this

Do you want the links, or just a finished thesis?

^^
I shall simply provide the links so that I might copy and paste them as needed. 😬

It doesn't really matter if the thesis is finished—I can always go back in and swap out some details or update a few links myself to get it where it needs to be. I just need to pull this together on my own, but please, I'm asking you all to move a little faster 😁

because my deadline is June 20th 🙂

Given everything you just laid out, reporting that university for attempted diploma fraud wouldn't be an uphill battle. 😉

I’d be gone by tomorrow—they'd have me expelled before lunch.

So, I actually went ahead and asked my professor about it—and he told me it doesn't really matter where I source the thesis from, as long as I meet the specific requirements:

Basically, I can't just scrape something together from my current university to pass, and it needs to be roughly 50 pages long. But still, I'm just asking for some guidance on where I should even start looking...

This says quite a bit about the state of our higher education system here in the States.
