Need help interpreting some lab results!!

Could someone please clarify what they actually mean by follicular, ovulatory, and luteal phases when looking at blood work results?

I had my blood drawn while I was on my period, so I have absolutely no clue which phase I currently fall into (I’m assuming it isn't the ovulatory one).

So, the follicular phase is basically your pre-ovulation window. It actually kicks off on the very first day of your period because while the uterine lining is shedding, your ovaries are already busy prepping a new egg—which means that’s when you had your blood drawn. 🙂 During this stage, you’d typically see elevated levels of FSH and, obviously, estrogen.
The ovulation phase? Well, you know how that goes... 😉
Then you've got the luteal phase, which happens post-ovulation. This is when your LH levels spike to support the corpus luteum, and that little thing pumps out all the progesterone you need.
