Man, I’m having a massive headache with this mouse—my neighbor hooked me up with it, but I don't have the damn CD

I can't find the drivers anywhere online, and even though the light comes on when I plug it in, the cursor won't budge an inch

It’s a USB connection, so if anyone out there knows how to fix this, please help me out

Thanks in advance

Have you tried plugging it into a different USB port yet? It might be worth checking Device Manager to see if there are any yellow exclamation marks popping up. By the way, which version of Windows are you running on that machine?

I've tried every single port. Man, as soon as I plug it in, it just shows up as an "unknown device." The light on the thing blinks, but that's about it... nothing else happens.

I'm on win 7

I clicked the option to let the system search for drivers automatically, but it came up totally empty. Nothing found.

I was actually just about to ask you—did you set it up to scan for drivers automatically? Man, if you did, I honestly have no clue what else could be going wrong... it's just not working at all.
